Shallow Water Fly Fishing  with Capt. David Camp

Come experience year-round sight fishing for Redfish in the shallow inshore waters surrounding Historic Beaufort, South Carolina.

Spring - Fall offer "Tailing Redfish" opportunities in flooded spartina grass, shallow mud flats, and creeks.

Fall and winter are excellent months for casting to larger schools of active fish.

Other fish that we may encounter include: Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Triple Tail and more.

The South Carolina salt marsh is the largest of any other Atlantic Coast state.  Beaufort County alone has at least half of the total acreage of salt marsh.  Twice daily ebbs and flows of saltwater tides provide a rich and productive estuary for many marine and bird species.  Inshore Fishes and Crustaceans, Bottlenose Dolphins, American Oyster Catchers, Egrets, Roseate Spoonbills, Wood Storks,  Pelicans, Ospreys, and many more thrive here.
